War is always evolving, but so too are the weapons soldiers are using. Being able to prepare, man0euver and attack before the enemy can detect the threat and respond can be a decisive advantage. The element of surprise has long been recognized as a tactical advantage.

Researchers at GE have successfully made a disc of the size of a DVD which can store up to 500 GB of data. Leaving the conventional methods aside these scientists have devised another way, using holographic means thus opening doors to new ways.

US Army’s Thule Air Base
We all love to watch espionage thrillers and bond movies with top agents doing all the dirty work with mega-gadgets and totally awesome navigation and ranging. In reality less glamorous operatives but equipped with same kind of technology are operating keeping an eye over all of us. For all race lovers caring for environment its a good news. Warwick Innovative Manufacturing Research Center (WIMRC), part of Warwick University has developed an F3 compliant race car which is made of sustainable and environment friendly material. The most important of that, its powered by waste chocolate and vegetable oil. Using so much friendly material it still reaches the awesome speed of 125 mph which is must for these cars.
